A very special, rare olive, the “mouratolia” is an ancient variety unique to Crete, revered by Cretans as “queen of the eating olives”.
Our Vassilakis Estate mouratolies are marinated to a 5-generations-old family recipe.
The olives are hand-picked and sorted, marinated in sea salt and pure rainwater, locally-produced vinegar and herbs. This gives a delicious, rich flavour.
